Recently, Elastic Media was invited to take part in the Siggraph 2021 conference, a technology summit that emphasizes on diversity, equity, and inclusion. The session allotted to Elastic Media will discuss their new project “Chocolate Milk,” which will be presented by Jonathan Weiner and Sonja Bozic. The presentation will take place on August 12 at 2-3pm PDT, but will be recorded to access as an on-demand service for registered guests. The project hopes to establish a space of understanding between those on the spectrum and those who are not through the use of today's technology.

For seven years, Larry's Transmedia Projects class helped The Met Guild educate public school students throughout the New York Metropolitan area about opera.  The culmination of the Guild's outreach was bringing the students to Lincoln Center to see the actual production of the opera they were studying. But, in between, as part of teaching the students about the opera -- story, setting, character, etc., Larry and his classes developed a series of one to two minute animated videos, which dove deeper in character and story development.

Elastic Media's new project, "Chocolate Milk" has been selected as one of the projects highlighted for the upcoming Paris XR Financing Market, set to run from September 23 through 25.  The combination VR/documentary will be featured in the "Diving Into Human Psyche" category.

40 creators, representing 22 countries, will present their developing projects to international leaders of the XR industry.

Elastic Media Co-Founder Sonja Bozic sits down with Techvangart to discuss the VR project, “Chocolate Milk.” Delving into behind the scenes stories and explaining the challenges pertaining to the project, Bozic delivers an immersive perspective of the exploration of the mind of a person with autism.

Motown's legacy is firmly entrenched in our culture.  It was originally positioned to the Baby Boomer generation as the "Music of Young America," and, led by the genius of Berry Gordy, Motown gave us some legendary performers/groups -- The Supremes, Four Tops, Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, the Jackson Five, Stevie Wonder, and so many more. 

The challenge of the Motown Museum is to make sure the incredible Motown legacy lives on, and it can -- with some help of a Transmedia campaign.  And, that challenge will be taken on by Larry Weiner's fall Transmedia Projects class.  Stay tuned for more details!

Elastic Media has received the Femme Futures Grant from Kaleidoscope.fund for its virtual reality project Chocolate Milk. As a female in the XR industry, co-founder Sonja Bozic is the recipient of the grant on behalf of Elastic Media. The grant money is encouraged to be used to push projects forward in a meaningful way.

Kaleidoscope.fund is a platform that issues artist grants, hosts events, and creates networking opportunities for the creative community.
